Maintaining a granite sink is easy if it is cleaned regularly.

The longer stains remain on the sink, the harder it would be to get rid of them.

Here are some other tips from us for removing other dirt, stains, stains, paint or traces of metal objects:

Don't place hot cookware directly from the stove into the sink - there is a risk of surface damage - warping, staining and even cracking.

Do not use your sink as a cutting board.

To get rid of stains and/or limescale salt deposits, evenly apply the detergent with the abrasive part of the cleaning sponge onto the dry part of the sink, scrub it and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then rinse with water and pat dry.

For more stubborn stains - repeat and let the detergent sit for about 15-20 minutes.

To get rid of traces caused by metal objects over the sink surface, use an abrasive cleaning detergent with a cream-like texture. Dry the surface of the sink, apply the detergent and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Use the abrasive part of the cleaning sponge to scrub the surface thoroughly. Rinse with water and dry.

--Caution! When cleaning, do not use aggressive chemicals containing caustic soda, formic acid and the like. Also, do not use very corrosive detergents - there is a risk of damaging the sink surface - discoloration or bleaching.

Instructions for drilling tap holes:

-Remove the sink from the box and place it face up on a stable surface.

-The tap holes will be drilled before installing the sink on the kitchen countertop.

-GRANITSINKS kitchen sinks have pre-determined tap holes. Choose the ones you prefer.

-With the sharp tip of a small hammer, tap a few times only on the marked center.

-Punching the sink/hitting the marked center will only be done on the top side surface (sink face).

-Continue tapping lightly from the center of the hole to the edge of the hole until the final shape of the hole is formed.

-Remnant material/dust can be sanded with sandpaper, sand razor or any suitable abrasive.

-If, after drilling the tap hole, you wish to repack and transport the product, you will need to clean the functional side of the sink.

Sinks
Characteristics Special structure of the material that reduces the noise of water falling into the sink. High level of UV resistance - colours remain bright even when the sink is used outdoors. The special structure of the coating on the surface is highly resistant to aggressive chemicals (except abrasives). Stain formation is prevented thanks to the smooth and non-porous surface prevents provides quick and easy cleaning. Mounting surfaces are perfectly aligned to facilitate correct integrated installation. The trough depth on all models is 21cm for large troughs. On sinks that include small troughs, it is 18cm. Pre-drilled holes for mixing a battery or soap dispenser. Offset overflow to facilitate the installation of any tap. High level of antibacterial protection due to the addition of silver ions to the material during manufacture. High scratch and impact resistance. Complete with /3 ½" siphon with overflow and paper template for premeasurement that cuts the mounting hole in the countertop.
Installation Drilling of pre-opened holes for mixing tap and/or liquid soap dispenser: Caution: drilling must ALWAYS be done from the front side of the sink. -Using a hammer and a drill tool, tap several times on the marked center. -Continue tapping from the center of the hole to the periphery until the hole is well formed. -Clean and shape the hole with sandpaper or other suitable abrasive tool. Installation of sinks -Based on the paper template, draw the necessary location on the kitchen counter. -Cut the countertop within the marked outlines - the lines must remain visible after cutting. -If necessary, drill the holes for a mixing battery and/or a liquid soap dispenser according to the instructions below. -Clean the surfaces where the sink will come into contact with alcohol and then apply a thin layer of clear silicone. -Place the sink in the hole and gently press it into the countertop using a heavy object. -Remove the silicone that has leaked around the edges and clean up the rest. -After final drying of the silicon remove the pressure object and the sink is ready for use.
